In April 1927, J.L. Huffines opened the second location of the Huffines Motor Company in downtown Lewisville in the old livery stable on the corner of Mill and Main streets. J.L Huffines and his car dealership had a significant impact on Lewisville through the years.
The original building still stands and has witnessed the growth of downtown and has itself gone through several iterations over the years. After lovingly restoring the building to its art deco roots (and finding a few horse shoes along the way), it is now the home to Sparrow Collective and her ministry initiatives.
In keeping with Huffines legacy, Sparrow is continuing to pour back into the community. With an event space, retail store and restorative programs, Sparrow offers ways to Celebrate, Shop and Live with Purpose.
Bringing this old building back to life is a tangible picture of restoration and we are proud to be a part of the rich history on the corner of Mill and Main.
